Our Sunday Services - Main Meetings

@ 09:30 am - Worship Service with Bible teaching and prayer for healing and help. There is a Children’s Church for children up to age 12.

Our Vision - “Be Changed, Be Nice, Be Used.”

Be Changed speaks of lives being transformed by believing in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, rose again from the dead; and sent the Holy Spirit to give us new life, help and healing. (1.)

Be Nice speaks of welcoming all and calling them to follow Jesus in repentance (2.) People who attend our services and meetings may need time to travel some way along the road of repentance before they get involved in the ministry and leadership of our church. (3.)

Be Used speaks of helping one another to grow in spiritual maturity and in the service of God. (4.)

Our Values - Beliefs that define us

We value the One True God, who exists as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (5)

We value Jesus as fully God and truly man, our Lord and Saviour, who died on the cross for our sins and rose again from the dead; the last and clearest revelation of God. (6)

We value the Bible as the God-produced and true revelation and rule of what we believe and how we behave. (7.)

We value the loving, controlling, transforming, empowering presence and gifts of the Holy Spirit. (8.)

We value all of God’s saving reign that has already been inaugurated in Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and we agonise over the reality that the Kingdom of God has not yet fully come on earth. (9.)

Our Cell Groups - Small Groups in homes and at church

We have a range of small group meetings for fellowship, prayer, support, and the application of the Word. These groups meet in homes and at the church building. Please speak to our leaders for more information on this.

Our Vintage - Faithfully serving God in Camps Bay for a long time

In 1926, this church began as a non-denominational local church. Then, in 1977, the church formally became ‘The Camps Bay United Church’, which included Presbyterians, Congregationalists and Methodists. In 2011 our church constitution was broadened to allow the calling of a pastor from a wide range of Evangelical expressions. At that time the church was also given the name Christian Life Camps Bay’ (CLCB). Our current pastor was appointed by and receives covering from the Association of Vineyard Churches in South Africa.
